The philosophy behind Reiki is the Japanese concept of uniting Heaven and Earth within your body. ‘Creating Oneness’. The belief is we are made up of 3 distinct bodies, our physical bodies, an emotional body and a spiritual body. When we are born our 3 bodies are one, but over time, with life lessons, fast pace, disappointments and joys, our 3 bodies can separate, and the whole being is lost. The idea is to bring them all back together, to ‘Create Oneness’.

Reiki is a centuries old healing system that uses naturally occurring electromagnetic energy frequencies. ‘Universal Healing Energy’. As a trained practitioner, I use Usui Reiki to concentrate healing energy to various points of the body. I identify areas that feel ‘hot’ to my hand, and direct the energy to those areas. When transmitting universal Reiki energy, touch is not necessary.

Your body will then become it’s own healer. The marvellous instrument that is our physical body will instinctively know how much energy to deposit to each necessary area, and over a few days your body will repair itself. 

​

The same principles are used for emotional and spiritual sickness, although the areas within your body sensitive to receiving the energy are different, but this beautiful, simple, effective natural healing art is highly effective, and promotes a feeling of well-being.  Once Reiki has been given, often over a short course of treatments, (where I will also give you a simple plan to follow), you will see that self-healing and correct living leads to enlightenment.  I never put limits on the power of Reiki energy for it’s usefulness in our world is limitless and as infinite as the Universe.   I will need to complete a form with you on your first treatment, so this will be a longer session.
